IBPS RRB 2016 Exam Notification, Exam Pattern – Apply Online

IBPS RRB 2016 Exam : Hello friends! IBPS has released a notification for the much awaited exam IBPS RRB Exam 2016. IBPS is going to recruit Office Assistant and Officer Scale – I, II,III in Regional Rural Bank through this exam.

Candidates can apply online from 14th sept, 2016 onward till 30th Sept, 2016 via IBPS Official website.

Some important information regarding IBPS RRB Exam Form 2016 are given as follows –

# Important dates for IBPS RRB 2016 Exam –

• Starting of Online registration – 14th Sept, 2106

• Last date of Online registration – 30th Sept, 2016

• Online Exam will be held on  – Month of November, 2016

# Minimum Educational Qualifications and Age Limit for IBPS RRB Exam 2016 –

1. Office Assistant (8824 Posts)–

• Graduate in any stream.
• Local Language proficiency (the applying state).
•  Knowledge on Computer.
• No need of Experience.
• Age – 18 – 28 years.

2. Officer Scale-I (5539 Posts) –

• Graduate in any stream.
• Proficient in local language.
• Computer Knowledge.
• No Experience Required.
• Age –  18- 30 years.

3. Officer Scale-II (1533 Posts)–

• Graduate in any stream with minimum 50% marks.
• Knowledge of local language.
• Two years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• Age – 21 – 32 years.

4. Officer Scale-III –

• Graduate in any stream with minimum 50% marks.
• Knowledge of local language.
• 5 years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• Age – 21 – 40 years.

• For GEN/OBC – 600/- Rs.
• For SC/ST/PH – 100/- Rs.

Exam Pattern of IBPS RRB Exam 2016 –

IBPS has made several changes in the exam pattern of RRBs from this year. Earlier there was only one Tier exam for RRBs but from this IBPS has came with the new scheme for IBPS RRB exam. According to this scheme there will be two level of exam i.e Prelims and Mains for the post of Office Assistant and Officer Scale -I.

For Officer Scale II and III – there will be only one level of exam.

For Office Assistant and Officer Scale I exam –

• Prelim Exam – Need to clear sectional and overall cutoff in order to be appeared in Main exam.

• Main Exam – Candidates are required to get minimum section cutoff number in the main exam.

Note – The Prelim’s exam marks will not be considered in the final merit list.

For Officer Scale-II, III – There will be single exam for both Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III exams.
